Nollywood actors and movie producers, Yul Edochie and Nkechi Blessing have applauded their colleague Tonto Dikeh after her political nomination.
A few days ago, the actress cum politician took to her page to share a flyer announcing her political ambition and also running for office.
Actress Tonto Dikeh was chosen by Tonte Ibraye to be his Deputy as they fight for the governorship in the Rivers States, come 2023.
Tonto Dikeh’s colleague, Yul Edochie congratulated her for running for office. According to him, it will make her understand how Nigeria truly works. He wrote:
“Congratulations to my friend and colleague Tonto Dikeh on your nomination as Deputy Governorship Candidate of your party.
Running for office is one of the best things one can ever do in life. It will make you understand clearly how Nigeria truly works.
There’s never a loss in it. It’s either you win or you learn and come back stronger.

Nkechi Blessing also expressed her support for Tonto Dikeh and reaffirmed that she is the kind of woman who will support her gender at any cost. She wrote:
“They said they want a change, something new and different…then a woman took a bold step, check the comments na fellow women they drag her… My gender. Jealousy have eaten deep into you that you can’t even hide anymore.. I hope you all get well soon. #kingtontoforthewin.
I am that woman that supports another woman that is why I am successful”.
