I’m Super Proud Of Afrobeats —Don Jazzy

Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy has shared his excitement over the growth of Afrobeats worldwide.

Afrobeats is presently a prominent music genre in the world. It has been embraced by both the local musicians in Nigeria and international artistes who are infusing its element into their songs.

The global recognition that Afrobeats is currently enjoying can be traced back to the tremendous efforts of Nigerian musicians who took different bold steps to get heard and establish themselves in the international scene.

Through Afrobeats, the likes of Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Tems, and many other African artistes have topped different international music charts and won notable international awards such as Grammy Awards, Soul Train Awards, BET Awards, just to mention a few.

Airing his views view Twitter on Monday, June 27, Don Jazzy disclosed that he is proud of how far and wide Afrobeats has gone around the globe.
