Gospel Music Veteran Sammie Okposo Releases Contemporary AfroGospel Single, ‘Shine’ (Watch)

Sammie Okposo

Award-winning international Gospel music minister Sammie Okposo keeps breaking his own record, topping his last effort with another classic titled “Shine.” The single comes with a complementing video that floors the proportion of the last effort.

The new single “Shine” is a combination of Afrobeat and Contemporary Gospel vibe to create a unique sing-along praise groove. The colourful video is an apt interpretation of the energetic festive mood and celebration tone of the song.

The props also complement the thematic preoccupation of the song beautifully. The use of glittering costumes and bright backdrop is a pointer towards the theme. The dance steps and wide smiles as well.

The Sammie Okposo brand is not relenting on its supply of exceptional materials just yet. He kicked the year off with a very energetic Amapiano praise single titled “Comot Body”. The single, which features two veteran Gospel powerhouse – Mike Abdul and Bidemi Olaoba – was complemented with a video that reflects the high-spirited sound. The new single “Shine” is an apt follow up to that effort replicating the adrenalin rush but with more professionalism and vocal dexterity.

It is a confession of the grace of God upon the minister, and a response of gratitude for the grace. Sammie Okposo posited that the life of God in a man by the access Jesus grants us to come without restrictions beautifies the life of God, thereby making him shine.
