In the spirit of the Sallah celebration, Mercy has made a move that has gotten everyone’s attention.
Controversial Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has taken up her husband’s name. The mother of two added her man, Kazim Adeoti’s surname to her Instagram bio to mark their first Eid-el-Kabir together as a couple.
A quick check by WITHIN NIGERIA on her Instagram bio on Saturday, July 9, revealed her new name is now Mercy Aigbe Adeoti.
The couple also posted their photos on Instagram and shared Eid-el-Kabir message to their fans and colleagues. They wrote:
“Taqabbal Allahu Minna Wa MinkumMay Almighty Allah bring you Joy, Happiness, Peace and Prosperity on this Blessed occasion.Wishing you all and your family continuous celebration, on this happy occasion of Eid!”
Recall Mercy Aigbe revealed Kazim as her husband on his birthday in January 2022. A revelation which led to a series of drama surrounding the union.
Reacting to the revelation, Funsho Asiwaju, Adeoti’s first wife, claimed that Mercy was having an affair with Kazim before they got married. She also said that Mercy’s son with her former husband Lanre Gentry was five months old at the time.
