Burna Boy’s ‘Love, Damini’ Emerges Highest Charting Nigerian Album On America’s Billboard 200

Burna Boy has set a record for other Nigerian musicians to follow. The Afro-Fusion artiste was pronounced to have the highest charting album on Billboard 200 chart.

The Grammy award-winning singer’s latest studio album, ‘Love, Damini,’ peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 chart, emerging as the first and only Nigerian album to achieve such a feat.

‘Love, Damini,’ released on Friday, July 8, 2022, became the highest charting album in the United States of America on Billboard 200 chart after selling over 25,000 copies.

“@burnaboy’s ‘Love, Damini’ debuts at #14 on this week’s Billboard 200 with 25K sold. It’s Burna Boy’s highest charting album ever,” Chart Data disclosed on Twitter.

Chart Date added, “.@burnaboy’s ‘Love, Damini’ is officially the highest charting Nigerian album of all-time on the Billboard 200.”
