Burgeoning talent Bayanni has released his first official body of work, an extended playlist (EP) entitled ‘Bayanni.’
The fresh talent, Bayanni, was unveiled as the newest artiste signed onto Mavin Records, the biggest record label in Africa, on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Mavin Records disclosed Bayanni is a product of the company’s academy.
Speaking on how he got signed by Mavin Records, Bayanni disclosed he got a direct message (DM) from Don Jazzy, presenting him with a life-changing opportunity. “Lonely nights, dark mornings, waiting for the sun to shine on me while posting my freestyles back in 2016,” he said.
Bayanni added, “Then I got a DM in 2019 from someone I respect so much, till date it still feels like a dream …but don’t wake me… @donjazzy thank you for giving this young boy a life changing opportunity. My immense gratitude to @tegamavin @rimouuune and everyone on the Mavin team.
“Sit back, relax and enjoy as I take you on this journey. I’m ready, ARE YOU???”
The ‘Bayanni’ EP comprises four tracks; ‘Family,’ ‘Body,’ ‘Ta Ta Ta,’ and ‘Kala.’ Bayanni has promised to give his fans more music. However professed his happiness with the debut ‘Bayanni’ EP release.
