Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has cleared the air on the earlier statement he made about the Shettima challenge.
Recall some Nigerians took to social media to make fun of Shettima, the running mate of Tinibu over his dressing at the recent NBA conference and Yul Edochie reacted to that, saying the dressing of someone doesn’t matter provided he works well.
The father of five added that they should do Obidient challenge instead and aspire to be like their favorite Peter Obi.
Tweeps didn’t take Yul’s statement lightly as some stated they would rather start a ‘polygamous challenge’ since he is married to 2 women.
Reacting to all that backlash, Yul Edochie in a tweet cleared the air by insisting he has nothing against Nigerian youths. He opined that he was only trying to wake them up and help them understand that catching cruise and insulting people will not get them where they want to be.
The controversial actor stated that a better option would be to focus on self improvement, because whatever a person focuses on, grows.
He wrote:
“I have nothing against Nigerian youths.
Just trying to wake them up. Catching cruise & insulting people every second won’t get you where you want to be.
Yes the Govt hasn’t done well but there’s a lot you can achieve if you focus on self improvement.
Whatever you focus on grows.”
