Dr. Dre Adopts ‘Mayowa’ As His Nigerian Name, Appreciates ‘Finesse’ Singer Pheelz (Video)

Nigerian record producer cum singer Pheelz links up with multi-platinum rapper and record producer Dr. Dre in California, the United States of America.

During their meeting, Pheelz gave Dr. Dre a Nigerian name he loves after explaining what the name means in the English language to the legendary co-founder of Beats Electronics.

Pheelz disclosed he gave Dr. Dre ‘Mayowa,’ a Yoruba name that means ‘Joy Bringer’ in English. “Gave @drdre a Nigerian name MAYOWA // meaning: JOY BRINGER,” he shared on Twitter.

In a video posted by Pheelz on the microblogging platform, Dr. Dre proudly accepted the name and appreciated the singer for giving him such a beautiful name. Watch the video.

In another post on Twitter, the ‘Finesse’ crooner posed for pictures with legendary Diddy and Jimmy Iovine. He captioned it as;
