Joan Jacob Ayemi, the sister of the reality star, Nengi Hampson Rebecca has spoken following reports about the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) seizing the latter’s exotic Range Rover Velar SUV.
WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that rumours about the car’s confiscation over fraudulent dealings made rounds on Wednesday, 31st August.
It was revealed that a sugar daddy purchased the car for the ex-Big Brother housemate and has subsequently been arrested due to fraud causing the car to be impounded by the anti-graft agency upon investigation.
Reports from the controversial Instagram blog, Gistlovers claim that Nengi is dating Micheal Diongoli; a Ponzi scheme operator who was arrested a few weeks back.
Speaking amid the saga, Nengi’s sister in a post she shared via her Instagram story regretted pressuring her sister to go for the reality show which skyrocketed her to fame.
According to her, Nengi has always wanted a peaceful and quiet life.
She wrote:
I was actually the one that pressurized her to go for it….It was more like my dream. She actually wanted a peaceful and quiet life. Now I sometimes wish I didn’t…. But in all we thank God for everything and we will always conquer. After all dem no dey try to pluck fruit wey never ripe
