Nigerian singer Waje has showered praises on Afrofusion musician Davido for how he made her feel.
Waje, real name Aituja Iruobe, revealed Davido is truly a gift when she shared what the ‘Fall’ crooner did for her on the microblogging platform, Twitter.
The stunning songstress said she has been in the music industry for a long time, but not everyone honours people the way the DMW star did when she was not on the scene.
Waje wrote, “Imagine walking out of a place feeling, honoured, and with a pair of beautiful diamond earrings cos of @davido’s kind words about u. I’ve been in this game a long time, not every1 will honour u when you aren’t present in the room. David, you are truly a gift.”
Davido bagged the humanitarian award of the year at the 15th Headies Awards. He was praised for his generosity, with his famous slogan ‘we rise by lifting others,’ and donating N250 million to 292 orphanages in February.
Waje recently celebrated her 42nd birthday on September 1, 2022, with the release of her new album, titled Unbroken.
