Blaqbonez wades into Carter Efe, Berri-Tiga’s ‘Machala’ ownership drama

Multifaceted Nigerian rapper cum entertainer, Emeka Akumefule, known professionally as Blaqbonez has seemingly waded into the ongoing ownership saga between Carter Efe and Berri-Tiga.

The comedian, Carter Efe and the up-and-coming singer, Berri-Tiga, who recently teamed up to serve the music community with a chart topping single tagged; “Machala” are currently at loggerheads and have taken to social media to drag each other.

Carter Efe and Berri-Tiga’s issues are over ownership of their smash tune ‘Machala’. With both side telling their part of the story, it was revealed that Carter Efe offered Berri-Tiga, who wrote and sang the entire song, a 95%-5% split (in favor of the comedian).

In a seeming response to the ongoing saga, Blaqbonez has taken to the bird app to slam Carter Efe for offering such a deal to a creative. According to the Chocolate City star, without the promoter, a song might eventually be big, but without a creative, the song will not exist at all. Blaqbonez tweeted:
