Big Brother Naija reality star Kiddwaya has broken his silence on his rumoured engagement to a white lady.
The reality star sparked engagement rumours after media personality Daddy Freeze shared a video of Kiddwaya and the lady believed to be his partner on Instagram on Monday, September 5, loving up.
In the video, Kiddwaya is seen feeding the lady whom Daddy Freeze addressed as his fiancé. The duo later shared a kiss.
Captioning the video, Daddy Freeze wrote:
“Kidd Waya & His Fiancée Showing Us How To Love.”
However, in a Twitter post on Monday September 19, Kiddwaya said he is not getting married and does not have a fiancée. He tweeted:
“I’m not getting married and I DO NOT have a fiancé. It was fun seeing all the reactions tho.”
Kiddwaya and fellow reality Erica Nlewedim ended their love affair in the reality TV show in 2020.
The 28-year-old revealed this in a question and answer session on Instastoties.
His revelation comes after a fan asked him what he meant in an interview he had with Punch saying he did not have a love life.
Kiddwaya replied to the fan saying:
“I feel like I need to explain myself here! So listen up carefully. She was my girlfriend at the time, and I didn’t want people to be too involved. I wanted it to be private that’s why I said what I said.
“And sadly my words got twisted and it brought a lot of drags! Positive vibes from now on pls.”
On January 10 last year, Kiddwaya in the interview said:
“I would be committed to a long-term marriage. I don’t think I have a love life. I think I have a life and I am trying to find love.”
