Singer Oxlade Reveals Davido Gave Him His First 1,000 Dollars

Oxlade, Davido

Budding Nigerian singer Oxlade has publicly appreciated veteran musician Davido for being nice to him.

Oxlade disclosed Davido gave him the biggest sum of money as an upcoming artiste, and he felt good about it.

The ‘Ku Lo Sa’ crooner revealed that the first-ever one thousand dollars he received in his life were from the DMW chief, Davido.

“Baddest gave me my first 1k dolls…First time I ever felt that sum in my life… The Whole game has been good to me… So don’t even trip,” he wrote in a now-deleted post on Twitter.

Oxlade wrote the Tweet shortly after singer Dammy Krane called out Davido over an alleged debt.

Dammy Krane, on his Twitter page on Monday, held that Davido refused to pay for his songwriting contribution to an earlier released track, even after reaching out to the ‘Stand Strong’ singer privately.
