Wizkid Na Baba, Don’t Compare Asake To Big Wiz —Portable Says He’s Mate With ‘Terminator’ Crooner (Video)

Asake, Wizkid, Portable

Notorious street-hop musician Portable has shut down the recent Asake-Wizkid comparison on social media.

Fans of Asake overblew the whistle of the neo-fuji singer after his debut studio album, ‘Mr Money With The Vibe,’ set new records as the first African album with the biggest opening day and the biggest opening three days on Apple Music.

Considering Asake’s recent feats in the music industry, the Apple Music records further certified him as indeed a quality musician with a large fan base. This made his fans compare him to Wizkid, a regular record breaker worldwide.

Portable, however, felt differently by the comparison. The ‘Zazu Zehh’ singer made a video to express his dissatisfaction to Asake’s fans for comparing him to Wizkid.

He hailed Wizkid and made it known that he [Portable] is the same set as Asake, not Wizkid. He added that the Starboy Entertainment CEO is not their mate.

Portable said, “Don’t compare Asake to Wizkid. Wizkid is a big man! He is a boss. He belongs to the set of Olamide Baddo, Davido (ogo awon Baba Imade), Burna Boy (Gangster Lii, African Giant). They are all in the same set.”

“So, Asake and I belong to the same set that emerged from Olamide,” Portable added.
