Rema And I Are The Biggest Artistes Of Our Generation —Fireboy DML (Video)

Nigerian musician Fireboy DML has stated that his colleague Rema are the two leading artistes of their generation.

Fireboy made this statement when explaining how he got to collaborate with the Mavin Records poster boy on his latest studio album, ‘Playboy.’

The YBNL Nation and Empire artiste, Fireboy, featured Rema on a song titled ‘Compromise.’ The song is one of the fans’ favorite tracks on the critically acclaimed ‘Playboy’ body of work.

In a chat with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, Fireboy disclosed they have a cordial relationship and over five songs together.

The 26-year-old added that they collaborated because they didn’t want to give their fans what they wanted — beef. In his words;

“Myself and Rema are like the two leading artists of our generation, without a doubt,” he said.

“We came together and realized that, ‘Yo, instead of giving these fans what they want, which is beef, let’s collaborate.’ We don’t want to repeat any mistakes from the past; we just want to make money.

“The fans are still doing their stuff. They’re relentless, but we will continue to show love because that’s the only way.
