Mavin boss, Don Jazzy has explained why he thinks people need to check on each other more through a song snippet.
The label boss in a video he shared on his page showed him having a conversation with Nigerian singer, Johnny Drille and popular Disc Jockey, DJ Big N.
Don Jazzy revealed that his mom’s death made him realize how important it is to keep in touch with people rather than doing so when things happen to prompt it.
“Learnt a valuable lesson recently about how as much we think we see each other all the time on social media, we are actually so distant from each other.
“We are so out of touch with how our loved ones are really doing. We don’t call enough anymore to check up on ourselves.
“GOD forbid the only time we get to do that is when something bad happens. We can do better. So we made a beautiful song that could help you get in touch. This is a just a start.”
Johnny Drille in his opinion stated that he thinks the reason for not keeping in touch often is because people see themselves on social media and assume they’re fine while DJ Big N chipped in that not everybody that give the impression of being fine on social media are truly okay.
They all agreed that people need to do better and check on each other while they vibe to a song which we expect to get the details of real soon.
