Controversial American Rapper, Kanye West has been dropped by Balenciaga.
Balenciaga goes a long way with Ye but however have ended their relationship with him.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, Balenciaga’s parent company Kering has issued a statement stating that it “no longer has any contact with this artist” and “Balenciaga has no intentions for future projects relating to this artist.”
Although the statement did not go into any detail, it is reasonable to assume that the choice was taken as a result of Kanye’s numerous anti-Semitic remarks and issues in recent months.
The singer who have been in a tight place with critics following his anti-Semitic remark and using the R-word on President Joe Biden.
Kanye is losing a lot of support at the National Disability Rights Network. Disability advocates, according to Executive Director Marlene Sallo, were appreciative when Kanye initially said that his bipolar disease was a superpower, but they are now furious that Ye used a “outdated and nasty” term.
