Wizkid

Most decorated Afrobeats singer Wizkid also sold out the famous Madison Square Garden in New York a few months after his pal and colleague in the entertainment industry, Burna Boy, set the record.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Wizkid delighted his fans at the 20,789-capacity arena. The ‘Daddy Yo’ singer entertained the Madison Square Garden audience, creating a memorable moment.

At the sold-out event, Wizkid, a renowned musician on the African continent, demonstrated why he is the most-decorated Afrobeats singer. Concertgoers swarmed social media with footages and photographs of the superstar rendering outstanding performances of his hits.

Burna Boy became the first African to sell out Madison Square Garden on Thursday, April 28, 2022, with his ‘One Night in Space’ event. The show’s attendance astounded the world and ushered in a new era for African performers.
