CKay Celebrates His Achievements, Announces ‘Sad Romance’ Lagos Concert

CKay

Nigerian singer CKay has boasted about his accomplishments since the release of his global hit song, ‘Love Nwantiti,’ telling his critics that his talent, hard work, and the true love he receives from his followers have helped him become more successful in music.

CKay has been on ‘Sad Romance’ North American and Europe tour since October 1. The artiste gave fantastic performances of his songs to his fans and other event attendees during his show. The amazing singer also confirmed the Lagos leg of the tour will take place on December 15.

He acknowledged that he was chastised for having ‘Love Nwantiti’ as a hit song on TikTok after the track’s debut. CKay stated that the song garnered him real-life fans as well as other music trophies.

“Been on tour for the past two months and it’s crazy how my audiences were like 80% non-Africans! It’s almost like they love afrobeats more than us now 😂. North America and Europe showed up!,” he wrote on Twitter.

He continued, “They said we couldn’t sell out venues because love nwantiti was just a tiktok hit. Well, we did and we have plaques for emiliana too, plus the fans were singing the new album word for word! I’m proud of myself and my whole team. We’ll do this even bigger and better next year!

“No streaming farm can buy this type of love. Plaques full my crib. Very few can brag of this so I will never take it for granted. I appreciate all my fans who genuinely support me and prove to the world that what is real will last.

“To wrap up the year we bringing the Sad Romance Tour to Lagos December 15! See you soon!” CKay concluded.
