Nollywood actress Seyi Edun, wife of Adeniyi Johnson, has responded to her husband’s apology about his relationship with a lady who posted a video of herself and the actor with a suggestive caption.
The lady who is believed to be a fan of the 44-year-old posted the video on social media on Monday with the caption:
“The King that rules my world. Love you pappy. I miss you so much. Come back to mummy.”
The caption led angry fans to believe that the actor is cheating on his wife with the lady.
His failed marriage to actress Toyin Abraham formerly known as Toyin Aimakhu and the infidelity saga that followed was also revisited amid the backlash.
As the criticism continued, Adeniyi Johnson was forced to put out a statement on Instagram on Monday, where he cleared the air on what transpired between himself and the lady.
The actor described the lady as an “overzealous fan” who put out a misleading caption after she begged to take pictures and make videos with him.
He also apologized to his wife Seyi for the embarrassment the video may have caused her.
Reacting in the comment section of the post, Seyi Edun forgave her husband, reassuring the latter of her love and support. She wrote:
“Oya sope Otilor… Izzz gone now. I gat you baby for life.”
Adeniyi and Seyi got married after his divorce from Toyin Abraham was finalised.
