Jaywon, a Nigerian singer, has lamented being robbed in an American hotel.
Jaywon described how he walked out of his hotel room and returned to almost empty luggage with most of his belongings missing in an Instagram video.
Captioning the video, he wrote;
Left my hotel today @hiltonbaltimore to the studio only to come back and I couldn’t find my luggage , my carry on bag with my laptop. My gold chain , clothes, shoes, slides are gone. Someone emptied my suite #hiltonbaltimoreinnerharbor this wasn’t the Christmas men.
No where is sha safe again. Nowhere!
Yemi Alade Robbed Abroad
Meanwhile, Yemi Alade was recently robbed at a hotel in Côte d’Ivoire.
According to reports from within Nigeria, the singer was in the country for the Creative Africa Nexus Weekend (CANEX WKND), a three-day gathering of creatives from Africa and the Diaspora, when the incident occurred.
The 33-year-old singer described the incident, saying that while she was away from her hotel room, her belongings were ransacked and all of her money was carted away.
She said:
A few minutes after I left my room, some unknown people decided to go through my things and steal all the money they could find. Very good.
