Can’t enjoy anything in… – pissed off Blaqbonez rants over Davido’s album release date

Nigerian rapper, Emeka Akumefule, professionally known as Blaqbonez has ranted over the release date of Davido’s album.

Particularly worried over the coincidence that he and Davido will be releasing new albums on the same day, Blaqbonez took to Twitter to rant.

The Rapper announced on 16th of March that his next project will be dropping on March 31st and was warming up to the date.

However, on March 21st, Davido took to Twitter to announce that his new album titled TIMELESS will be released on March 31st.

The Afrobeats star, born David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, ended his social media hiatus in fulfilment of a promise.

He took to his Twitter and Instagram pages to announced that his next album titled TIMELESS will be released on 31st of March 2023.

Davido who went offline after losing his son in October 2022, announced in December that he would be returning to online platforms in March.

In a post on his page, the Stand Strong crooner dropped a trailer for his forthcoming album and penned a thoughtful message about the need to heal.

This came as a huge shocker and disappointing reality for Blaqbonez because of the high probability of Davido’s album reception overshadowing his own song when they both drop.

Blaqbonez wrote; “Damn. can’t enjoy anything in this industry.”
