The feud between Nigerian comedians AY Makun and Basketmouth shows no signs of abating courtesy of the duo’s actions.
In a video circulating online, AY threw shades at Basketmouth during his AY Live Easter Sunday Show, which was attended by various celebrities.
This comes after AY, in an interview with Chude Jideonwo, claimed that Basketmouth had an ongoing grudge against him over a sum of N30K. Additionally, AY disclosed that he was not permitted to enter Basketmouth’s wedding venue, despite showing up.
In a recent development, Basketmouth in an interview with Nedu Wazobia refuted AY’s claims, stating that 90% of what AY said was untrue.
He claimed that AY was seeking attention and attempting to use him to sell tickets. Basketmouth categorically stated that AY is not his friend.
“We had no friendship before, no be say friendship dey, he con spoil. Ay is not my friend, I didn’t invite him nor his wife to my wedding, they just came themselves. I only invited my friends,” the comedy king said.
Recalling the N30K beef during his show, AY while on the stage made use of Portable’s sound “I am a baboon, I live in the zoo” and then tackled Basketmouth with it.
AY said; “Basket O feku, O feku.” meaning “Basket do you want to die, you want to die.”
