Following the release of ‘Timeless’ album, Davido has been granting several interviews and addressing hundreds of questions.
The singer in a recent interview spoke about how surprise and happy he is that people accepted his album despite the outcome of the 2023 general elections.
Davido also shared his thoughts as regards some of his colleagues that decided to keep mute during the electoral processes.
According to him, people have their own views and opinions and there could be important reasons for an artiste’s silence during the period.
However, when asked which leader he supported, Davido declined giving an answer while stating that he supports himself as he’s a leader also.
In the course of the convo, Davido repeatedly tried to digress from political questions but the interviewer kept on throwing questions that appeared quite sensitive causing him to give that answer.

In reaction to the clip, netizens were of the view that the interviewer wanted to set the musician up for drags but he was smart enough to handle the situation.
