Charles Oputa, a renowned singer and activist, who is widely known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, has announced plans to hold a thanksgiving ceremony in celebration of his life. This comes after he recently revealed his battle with prostate cancer.
Charly Boy took to his Instagram page to recount his experience and how he successfully overcame the ailment. He shared a video of himself being wheeled out of the theatre after undergoing surgery to treat prostate cancer, which he had been battling for over 10 days. The singer expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life and for his family’s unwavering support during the challenging period.
In his post, Charly Boy also appreciated the Nigerian doctor who performed the surgery, acknowledging the vital role played by the medical professional in his recovery.
The singer-cum-activist described his survival as the greatest favor God has done for him and expressed a deep sense of gratitude for the second chance at life. He also makes revelation that he’s manh0od will be begin to function again and also plans to hold thanksgiving for it.
He wrote;
