Stray shots have hit veteran Nigerian actor, Kanayo O Kanayo from his younger colleague, Etinosa Idemudia, who made a post cautioning parents on emotional blackmail.
Etinosa had on Twitter, taken a swipe at African parents who are in the habit of blackmailing their children emotionally.
She stated that the parents are the ones who brought their children into the world and should be responsible for them.
Etinosa Idemudia added that children shouldn’t be reminded that their parents sacrificed a lot for them in order to be successful because it’s not their fault they were born. She asked who is responsible for putting children in a position to need the sacrifice of their parents.
The thespian questioned if it was Kanayo O Kanayo and not the same parents who chose to bring kids to the world, there by sacrificing for their needs and comfort.
The mother of one tweeted:
“African parents need to stop the emotional blackmail tbh.
I raised you, I sacrificed for you. I don’t understand, who brought me here in the first place? Who put me in the position to need sacrifice. Kanayo Kanayo?.”
