Late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi’s burial procession has began with his body being moved from Isolo to his Ikorodu residence for interment.
The actor, aged 49, lost his life on Sunday, the 14th of May, 2023, after he reportedly slipped on bathroom tiles and hit his head on a hard surface.
Nollywood stars declared Sunday a black day because the movie industry lost three actors in quick succession. Many took to their timelines to share dark images to mourn the death of Murphy Afolabi.
Actor Murphy Afolabi’s death came as a shock to many as the actor recently marked his 49th birthday on the 5th of May.
Videos that emerged online captured the moment the actor’s corpse was transported in a coffin to Ikorodu, where he would be finally committed to mother earth.
Recall that earlier today, Murphy Afolabi’s burial arrangements was announced by Bimpe Akintunde who stated he would be buried at his Ikorodu, Lagos state residence.
