Mavin Records artist Charles Chibuezechukwu, professionally known as Crayon, opened up about the crucial support provided by labelmate Rema during his journey to stardom.

Crayon disclosed that Rema had accommodated him for two years, playing an instrumental role in his eventual success in the music industry.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with MTV Base Africa, the talented singer behind hits like ‘Ijo Labalaba‘ expressed his gratitude towards Rema.

He described Rema as not only a fellow artist but also a “brother for life.” Crayon emphasized the substantial contribution Rema made to his career growth and highlighted their strong bond.

Crayon’s admiration for Rema’s support was evident as he revealed the astonishing fact that he resided in Rema’s home for a remarkable span of two years.

In related news, Nigerian singer Crayon, has recalled how a landlord once kicked his family out of his house because his parents couldn’t afford to pay the rent.

in a recent interview with MTV Base, he claimed the incident took place in 2013 and their house rent at the time was N18,000.

The singer stated that after being evicted from their home, they proceeded to stay at a church member’s home but discovered that they were both in arrears on their rent and the landlord evicted them as well.
