In a recent episode of ‘The Honest Bunch Podcast’ hosted by Nedu and his team, popular Nigerian controversial singer Portable emphatically declared himself as the reigning king of street vibes in the country’s music industry.

The artist took the opportunity to address his ongoing feud with fellow singer Seyi Vibez, shedding light on their differences.

During the podcast interview, Portable proudly asserted his uniqueness as an artist, highlighting his refusal to imitate anyone else’s style.

He contrasted this with his perception of Seyi Vibez’s approach, claiming that the latter tended to borrow from other artists.

In his words;

“Me I no dey copy anybody, my music style is unique. But Seyi dey copy somebody.”

The dispute between Portable, known for his hit track ‘Zazuu,’ and Seyi Vibez, has been brewing for some time.

Portable revealed the origins of their disagreement, recounting how Seyi Vibez approached him to perform at his show.

In a gesture of camaraderie, Portable agreed to perform without any monetary compensation. However, the tension escalated when Seyi Vibez failed to reciprocate the goodwill by not responding to Portable’s invitation to perform at his own show.

The self-proclaimed “Zeh Nation” leader made it clear that his issue was not about rivalry but about principle.

He emphasized that he had no qualms supporting his fellow artists but expected the same level of respect and support in return.
