Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, professionally known as Portable, has issued a stern warning to the Nigerian police following the arrest of Sam Larry.
On September 28, 2023, the Nigerian police arrested Sam Larry in connection with the death of Mohbad shortly after his return to Nigeria.
The news of the arrest was shared on X by the Nigerian police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed that Sam Larry was in custody, assisting with the investigation into Mohbad’s death.
Portable reacted strongly to the arrest, demanding justice for Mohbad and expressing his dissatisfaction with the Nigerian Police’s statement that Sam Larry was assisting them.
He stated:
“Welcome back to Nigeria, Sam Larry. Nigeria police, we don’t need assistance; we need an investigation.”
The singer called for proactive and fast steps to be taken in order to achieve justice for Mohbad.
