BBNaija All Stars finalist, Adekunle opens up on what attracted him to his love interest, Venita

In a recent interview with Africa Magic, Bad Boy Deks, as he is well known in the house, stated that he fell in love with Venita when she caught a joke he threw in the House.

He admitted to the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, that he had never intended to date anyone while inside the house, but Venita had won his heart with her sharp mind.

He claimed that his affair with Venita in the House taught him a lot about the mechanics of relationships.

In his words:

“To be honest, I didn’t focus on getting into a relationship, but I know that in my previous season I didn’t interact with women much. So my plan this time around was to interact with more women.

I noticed Venita in the first week. I threw a joke in the air and she was the only one that caught it. I actually like intelligent women. I was like I’m going to pay extra attention to her. And she was very different from the rest of the housemates. So, I saw an opportunity to get to know her.

“When I was the Head of House, I was the only one upstairs. And I was like I’m not going to sleep alone this time around. So, I took her up.”

Recall that tensions had arose between Adekunle and Venita over the weekend as the duo has been embroiled in misunderstandings, leading to Adekunle opting to sleep on the couch instead of sharing a bed with Venita.

In the early hours of Sunday, Venita Akpofure was spotted crying as she lamented to Alex and Kim about her situation with her lover, Adekunle.

However, in the late hours of Sunday, Adekunle gathered a few of the housemates, including NeoEnergy, Angel, Soma, and Pere, to sing with him and plead for Venita’s forgiveness so they may reunite as couples.
