Sheila Courage, the wife of Isreal DMW, has raised questions among the public about the state of their marriage due to her birthday message that lacked the usual romantic tone.
On Wednesday, 4th October, she took to her Instagram story to convey her wishes, but her message seemed devoid of the typical affectionate sentiments.
Rather than showering her husband with sweet words, Sheila referred to him as the “Juju 1 of Ekpoma” and offered a simple prayer for God’s blessings:
“Happy birthday Juju 1 of Ekpoma. God bless you.”

Recall that in September 2023, rumours of their Isreal’s and Sheila’s marital ship hitting rocky waters made rounds online.
Exposing the roots of the rumored marital turmoil, the well-known Gossip blog, Gistlover, in a statement drenched in Pidgin English, averred that Sheila was romantically involved with another individual before her father introduced her to Israel at a bar where Israel was hosting an event.
Gistlover claimed that Sheila’s father, lured by Israel’s wealth, befriended him and mentioned having a stunning, virgin daughter. They then set up a meeting, and due to financial incentives, Israel agreed to marry Sheila.
The gossip blog’s narrative continued, describing how things escalated rapidly, leading to the setting of a wedding date that became the town’s main topic and attracted even celebrities like Davido.
However, just a few months into their marriage, problems began to emerge. The reports revealed that Sheila would occasionally want to use the car to go to the market, but Israel would deny her that privilege. Also, whenever Sheila goes out and returned home, Israel allegedly inspect her pants to check for signs of infidelity.
Gistlover pointed out that Israel was not providing her with substantial financial support, forcing Sheila to turn to influencer jobs to make ends meet.
The blog noted that Sheila would occasionally leave the house for days without returning, and even her father, who had encouraged the marriage, couldn’t intervene.
Gistlover also mentioned that Sheila left the house twice but eventually returned. However, after a recent altercation on Israel’s last birthday, she reached her breaking point and moved out, requesting her parents to return the bride price.
Reportedly, there was a signed agreement between them not to discuss their issues online, but the situation has escalated nonetheless.
Gistlover mentioned that unconfirmed sources suggest Sheila might have left Israel’s house while possibly pregnant, although this remains uncertain. Both families are attempting to mediate in hopes of reconciling the couple.
