Peter Okoye, one half of the legendary Nigerian musical duo, P-Square, recently expressed his frustration over the state of the economy.

He emphasized in an Instagram story the substantial effect that rising costs have on day-to-day life, particularly in the context of skyrocketing diesel prices.

Peter Okoye revealed that he spends a whooping three million naira on diesel every month.

The seriousness of Nigeria’s economic problems is revealed by this statement, with rising costs hurting not only people but also businesses and industries.

Peter Okoye’s lamentation sheds light on the fact that even those in the limelight are not spared from the adverse effects of an ailing economy.

He noted that this sum was over 20 times greater than the 120,000 Naira he paid for his first automobile many years ago.

With rising fuel costs and frequent power outages, the burden of exorbitant expenses is taking a toll on individuals and businesses alike.

Many people who have also experienced the effects of economic changes found Okoye’s message to be relevant.
