Jim Iyke breaks silence on his viral “who’s that” comment about his ex-girlfriend, Nadia Buari

• Jim Iyke has finally revealed why he pretended he didn’t know Nadia Buhari during a recent interview where he was asked about her.
• The actor was asked if he was ever in a relationship with her and if it was sexual. He chose to evade the question instead.
• On why he didn’t answer, Jim Iyke stated that it was a mode of respect for his current relationship as well as Nadia’s husband.

Popular Nigerian film actor, Jim Iyke has spoken about a viral ‘who’s that’ statement he made days back, during an interview.

Recall that during the said interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa had inquired about his relationship with his ex, Ghanian actress, Nadia Buhari and he had replied with “Who’s that”, which many found offensive.

Now speaking about it in another interview, Jim Iyke noted how he and Nadia, have both moved on from their past and are now in different relationships.

According to him, he found it offensive to Nadia Buari’s husband and his current girlfriend to talk about what they had happened years back. He added that Toke had asked him an explicit question, wanting to know if they had sex when they were together, which is why he didn’t answer. He said in part:

“Anyway I answer the question of my sexual explicity with Nadia Buari is lose lose. I chose not to answer because no husband wants to hear about an ex and anyone who doesn’t understand this needs a serious brain check”.

“I didn’t want to offend a married woman with four children, so it was better to leave the last in the past. I must respect both my current partner and Nadia’s husband”.

Jim Iyke and Nadia Buari were believed to have dated between 2013 – 2014. Watch a part of both interviews below:

Speaking to ace interviewer, Toke Makinwa on the pilot episode of her new show, Tea Talk, the actors were asked rapid-fire questions regarding choosing Lagos or Abuja, Wizkid or Burna Boy, and more.

Shockingly when it was time to reveal who they preferred amongst the two singers, Kate, Jim and Chidi stated they prefer Burna Boy to Wizkid.
