Court grants Keke Palmer full custody of child, restrains baby daddy

• The court also demanded that Jackson hand over his guns to the police within the next 124 hours.
• Jackson is also to stay 100 yards away from Palmer and their son for the time being and currently has no rights to visit him 

Keke Palmer, an American singer and actress, has been granted sole custody of her 8-month-old baby with Darius Jackson. Additionally, her request for a restraining order against him has been granted.

According to Radar Online, on Friday, November 10, 2023, the actress was granted temporary sole custody of their son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson. In addition, the court ordered Jackson to give up his guns and other weapons to the police within the next 124 hours, where they would be kept until their case is resolved.

Jackson also has no visitation rights at this point and must remain 100 yards away from Palmer and their son.

To decide on Leo’s long-term custody plan, a court hearing has been set for December.

Palmer filed for full custody of their son on Thursday, November 9, 2023, alleging that her baby daddy had abused her at home. She claimed that Jackson had physically abused her for the previous two years, that the abuse persisted even after Leo was born.

In the documents, she provided testimony that read:

“He trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police,”

Palmer also included images from the CCTV footage of Jackson abusing her at home.

In another story, the actress had stated that she  didn’t believe in girlfriend and boyfriend

Buttressing her point, Keke stated that she considers herself single until the marriage vows have been said.

The actress made this known after she took to Instagram to address men who try to hold a woman down in the name of carrying on a relationship.

In a video, she is heard saying: “Dudes be like, I want you to be my girlfriend. But are you going to marry me? Because I’m not trying to be locked into nothing unless you’re going to lock me in for life. Because we can just be friends and kick it until you’re ready to go.”
