Meek Mill’s impact is undeniable, both in terms of artistic prowess and financial triumph, making him an artist to watch in the realm of hip-hop.

With each song he records, the Philadelphia native effortlessly generates an astonishing amount of money.

In a recent Instagram post, Meek Mill dropped a bombshell when he unveiled an astonishing claim, he stated that he makes $1 million from every song he records.

“I’m getting a million a song… so that’s $62,500 every bar I speak… They say this rap sh*t dying must be on Billboard because it’s not to Meek!,” he wrote.

Recall how Nigerian musician, Wizkid recently sparked a controversy by declaring in an interview that “hip-hop is dead”.

Hip-hop artists from both domestic and foreign scenes responded to his assertion, with Oladips, M.I., Zoro Swagbag, Nasty C, and many more publicly criticizing him for making such a contentious claim.

The DMW boss made this disclosure while responding to a question from the interviewer who asked about the number of shows he conducts in a month.

Davido revealed that he charges a remarkable $600,000 (approximately N550M) for each show.

Furthermore, Davido explained that he does not have numerous shows in a month because his fee is beyond the financial reach of many show promoters. He added that only a few show organizers can book him and he often ends up having like 4 shows in a month.

Reacting, netizens dropped their remarks with some insinuating that Wizkid and Burna Boy charge more than that.
