Big Brother Naija star Tokunbo Idowu, popularly known as TBoss, has taken to her Instagram story to express her thoughts on how fans perceive their idols as flawless.
She shared this after Davido’s supporters jumped to his defence after Tiwa Savage submitted a petition alleging that her life was in jeopardy due to her colleague.
According to TBoss, these well-known people who also serve as “role models” are flawed human beings who err like everyone else.
She claims that although some of these role models have made terrible and embarrassing errors in their lives, it doesn’t change the reality that they were previously kind and considerate to others.
She wrote;
“You know it is okay to admit that your role model was simply just Human right?
And humans make mistakes. Really awful & sometimes even nasty & sh*meful mistakes.
Doesn’t take away from the fact that at one time they showed consideration to some people, which probably included you.
So don’t knock off those who saw a totally different side of your role model.”
Recall last week, Davido and Tiwa Savage unfollowed each other, sparking rumours of a beef, which many tied to Davido’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Confirming the suspicions, Tee Billz, the baby daddy of Tiwa Savage, had publicly called out Davido for disrespecting his family, noting how he, Tiwa, and their son, Jamil have shown Davido’s daughter, Imade, love, yet the singer had disrespected them.
Threatening the singer, he said that his family would be the last one Davido would ever disrespect in Nigeria as he noted how the singer has been getting away with his crimes. He vowed to spill teas about the ongoing rift after the Grammys.
In another post, he shared one of his chats with the singer, where he accused him of being a deadbeat father and vindicated Sophia Momodu. Calling for transparency, Tee Billz vowed to expose the truth about Sophia’s stance on their daughter’s visitation and threw shade at the singer for his lack of sense and yes-men around him.
On Tuesday, January 9, Tiwa Savage filed a petition against Davido, revealing how an Instagram story post with Sophia Momodu, led to Davido hurling insults at her and threatening her, and she retaliated by cutting off ties with him as she noted that she stood by him during his tough times.
Savage claimed in the petition that mutual friends of herself and Davido had called, questioning what she did to the singer as he was badmouthing her and painting her as the aggressor over her relationship with Sophia. She stated that now she feels some form of online and offline harassment over it.
