How my boyfriend dumped me because I kissed Groovy – BBNaija’s Uriel

• Uriel has insinuated that she got dumped partly because of a gig.
• The reality TV star said kissing costar, Groovy amongst other reasons, led to a strain in her relationship with her boyfriend
• Some of Uriel’s fans have refused to believe her, insinuating that her lover couldn’t have broken off their relationship over a petty reason.

Big Brother Naija star, Uriel Oputa has said the reason her ex-boyfriend broke up with her was partly due to her kiss with colleague, Groovy.

It may be recalled that last year, Uriel and Groovy set the internet abuzz when they were captured sharing a kiss at an event which she later revealed was part of an advert for a brand.

Speaking on how it affected her relationship, the ex-BBNaija ‘All Stars’ housemate said the video which went viral was one of the reasons her man left.

Uriel made the revelation during a chat with Phyna on her podcast, adding that people started calling her as a result of the kiss.

She said;

“My ex-boyfriend, let me tell you that [kiss] was one of the reasons we broke up. It was too much, and I understand that it was part of the reason but work is work.”

Uriel Oputa earlier revealed she has moved past the ‘dating for fun’ stage and is ready to start a family with a mature man.

Opening up on why that hasn’t happened, she said it’s because most of the men who approach her are younger guys who are 28,29.

Uriel added that such guys are just starting out with their life while she wants a different thing in a relationship.
