BBNaija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Groovy Mono, has shared his experience as he allegedly found himself in the middle of a scary situation when an explosion hit Ibadan on Tuesday night.
The incident, which has since been confirmed, left residents in a state of panic and fear as investigations into the cause of the explosion are underway.
The explosion, initially reported by WITHIN NIGERIA, caused significant damage to properties in the affected area.
Among the structures affected was the UCH School of Nursing hostel, where glass windows shattered during the force of the blast.
The extent of the damage and the number of casualties, if any, remain uncertain as emergency response teams continue their efforts to assess the situation.
BBNaija star, Groovy, who happened to be in Ibadan for undisclosed reasons, shared his harrowing experience from his hotel room.
The reality star revealed that he heard the explosion and, upon witnessing images and videos of the aftermath, expressed his shock and concern for the safety of those in the vicinity.
“I dey Ibadan dey shoot movie oh. Heard the explosion from my hotel room. God Abeg. The pictures & clips I’m seeing are scary. Hope everyone is safe,” Groovy Mono wote.
