Harrysong breaks silence on reports of him asking his wife for an abortion

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Harrison Tare Okiri better known as Harrysong, has broken his silence amid reports that he and his wife, Alexer Perez Gopa are having marital crisis.

It may be recalled that on Monday, January 17, an Instagram blogger known as Cutie Juls alleged that the music star had asked his pregnant wife to have an abortion.

The blog leaked a chat purportedly between Harrysong and Alexer where he was asking her to terminate the pregnancy because she’s been giving birth to only female children.

Harrysong took to his Instagram story hours ago to react and noted that his family is having a challenging time over the stories.

He seemed to confirm the allegations by hinting at it before the ‘Reggae Blues’ crooner pleaded with the public to respect his family’s privacy this period. He wrote;

“After much reflection and discussion with my family, I have decided to put out this to my fans and well wishers, that while this is undoubtedly a challenging time for my family on the stories making round on social media of the marital problems my wife and i are having, I am appealing to members of the public to respect my family’s privacy this period and also to kindly request for your outmost understanding pls.. Thanks for the love and support.”

Meanwhile, in the aforementioned leaked chat, the musician told his wife to use the N100,000 he gave her to cook for his grandmother, to have the abortion instead, because he would no longer be responsible for a child from her if it turns out to be a girl.

Another chat showed Alexer Perez accusing Harrysong of having several side chics, to which he admitted and claimed that they were far better than her.

Sharing one of the screenshots, the blogger wrote:

“Dear Nigerians, please this is your celebrity, Harry Song asking his pregnant wife to go and abort the pregnancy she is carrying. Saying she is a mother of girls because na only girls she dey born.

“Just imagine o. He even says he will divorce the wife for getting pregnant because, in his head, he has already concluded that the wife will give birth to a girl. His wife is in the house with his mother while werey is in France. I’m so livid and can’t type enough right now. Just let me calm down a bit.

“Will upload more of his inhumane messages to his wife. All because the lady is pregnant with their 3rd child and he is saying he is sure it’s another girl. ‍Harry Song, I have checked and there is evidence that your wife has cooked different meals and your grandma was eaten. Mr Mahn, please leave this bad behaviour in 2023″.
