BBNaija reality TV star Doyin David opened up about her decision to no longer attend church, citing recent scandalous incidents involving pastors as a major factor.

The revelation comes on the heels of a post on Instablog detailing a shocking case in the United States where a pastor allegedly stole $1.3 million from church members, justifying the act by claiming divine instruction.

Expressing her dismay, Doyin David responded to the pastor’s audacious comment.

She pointed out the disturbing trend of members continuing to support leaders despite clear wrongdoing.

The BBNaija star asserted that such incidents are the primary reason for her decision to stay away from church.

She went on to express that attending church nowadays almost feels like embracing foolishness.

In her words;

“People ask me why I no longer go to church….ridiculous things like this is the reason. Just imagine this one saying God asked him to steal and you’ll find people in his church who will defend this madness.

“The standard keeps getting lower and lower by the day, it’s almost as if you have to be just plain stupid to be able to sit through certain sermon these days. God is really patient.”

In other news, Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ ex-contestant, Doyinsola David, better known as Doyin, has said can never be a full-time housewife if she gets married.

The reality TV star explained that the reasons she can’t quit her job to focus on being a stay-at-home wife is because her spouse can change and stop catering for her and their kids.

Doyin stated this in a video shared through her Instastory, noting that men respect a financially independent wife more than an ordinary housewife.
