I introduced 9ice to his ex-wife but he didn’t invite me to their wedding – Ruggedman

Nigerian Rapper Ruggedman expresses his surprise and disappointment at being left out of such a significant event in his friend’s life.

He revealed that despite introducing 9ice to his ex-wife, Toni Payne , he was not invited to their wedding.

According to him he received a call from 9ice’s ex-wife one Saturday, notifying him that it was their wedding day and that her husband asked her not to invite him.

The rapper revealed this during an interview with prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo.

He said:

“I introduced 9ice to Toni Payne but 9ice didn’t invite me to his wedding with her.

“One Saturday morning, I woke up to a call from Toni Payne. She was like, ‘Ahn ahnn! Where are you now?’ I said, ‘Where am I what? I am at home.’ She said they were getting married that day. I asked her why didn’t she tell me and she said she wanted to but 9ice said she shouldn’t tell me.”

Recall that ten years ago, 9ice and Toni Payne called it quits on their relationship after the singer claimed his wife had an extramarital affair with Ruggedman.

Ruggedman and 9ice even exchanged diss tracks as a result of the controversy.

According to reports, the musicians later settled their feud.

Few years ago, M.I Abaga lauded  Ruggedman For Paving Ways For Nigerian Musicians.

The self-titled Chairman, also known as M.I, openly applauded Ruggedman via his stories on photo and video sharing social media platform, Instagram.

Taking to his official Instagram stories, M.I said; “King Rugged paved the way for me.. along with many other hiphop kings. Respect for life!”
