Popular Nigerian singer cum songwriter, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, better known as Joeboy, has finally opened up on his rather private love life in a recent interview.

The seemingly reserved 26 year old singer said he would continue hiding the identity of his girlfriend so that people can keep wondering who she is.

Joeboy however revealed that they have been together for about 3 years, adding that he would propose to her when he is ready.

The music star made the revelation in a recent interview on The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos. In Joeboy’s words:

“I do have a girlfriend as a responsible man, we’ve been together for like 2-3 years.”

“I would put a ring on it when I’m ready, no pressure.

“Her identity will remain a mystery. Everyone can keep wondering who she is.”

The Body and Soul hitmaker said his favourite thing about his girlfriend is her understanding nature.

Speaking of relationships, Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni Entertainer or Sugar mummy of Lagos, has stated her opinion on the cause of heartbreaks in entanglements.

Teni made her views known in a video shared on social media.

According to the Malaika hitmaker, being deceitful and not being able to manage the truth is one of the major reasons for heartbreak in relationships.

While advising her fans to be honest with themselves and not overvalue their importance when in relationships, Teni encouraged them to learn how to manage the truth.
