Nigerian film actress, Damilola Adegbite has opened up on how she has been in a lot of pain, so much so that she is currently wearing a neck brace, also called a cervical collar.
The movie star confessed that she has had excruciating pain in her neck for over a year and has been on the strongest of pain killers but it hasn’t made a lot of difference.
Damilola Adegbite mentioned that she has been warned against doing any strenuous activity, including lifting weights for the next three months.
The fitness enthusiast stated that while it would be hard for her, but she would do anything for the pain to go away.
In a well detailed caption, Damilola Adegbite wrote:
“This is me post physiotherapy & Harassed and in some pain. For over a year, I’ve had an excruciating pain in my neck, literally. When the pain hits, I’m unable to function for days.
I have been on the strongest of pain killers for too long. They numb the pain for a bit and it’s back to business as usual. And of course with neck pain, comes migraines. It has been hell. I started physiotherapy over a week ago and I have noticed the pain is less. I have only taken a pain killer once since then. If you know me well, this is a big deal!
I am not supposed to lift weights for at least 3 months or do any kind of strenuous activities. This part is so hard for me but I’m determined to do anything to get rid of the pain.
In the mean time, I have to wear this beautiful neck fashion accessory a couple of hours a day, so if you see me outside with it, don’t be afraid. Lol
All in all, I’m grateful. Whatever we are going through, it could be much worse. When you hit rock bottom, the only way to go is up”
Apart from posting her gym workout routine, Damilola Adegbite has quite a calm social media presence, where she also showcases and promotes her work as an actress.
However, there was a little glitch in the peaceful virtual existence, when she roused dating rumors on the internet with fellow actor, Bolanle Ninalowo. The duo had been cozying up in each other’s comment section, and this made some netizens believe that they were dating.
These rumors had escalated because Bolanle Ninalowo recently got divorced, so a lot of watchful eyes were on him, while Damilola on the other hand has been divorced for quite a number of years now. However, neither of them addressed the rumors and as such, they quelled down a bit.
Apart from that little stint with Bolanle Ninalowo, Damilola Adegbite remains one of the most low-key actresses of her time, with little to no drama connected to her name.
