Nigerian actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Big Brother Naija’s former housemate, Angel Smith and many others have slammed Lord Lamba, the baby daddy of Queen Mercy Atang over his recent post.
Hours back, Queen Mercy had announced her engagement to another man. The reality star shared a photo of herself flaunting her engagement ring while holding the hands of her fiancé.
Queen then shared another post revealing the face of her man, gushing about how she is excited to walk down the aisle.
Surprisingly, her baby daddy, Lord Lamba deemed it fit to let the world know that he is the father of Mercy’s child, minutes after she announced her engagement. Taking to his Instagram page, he shared photos of him and their child from her first birthday weeks back.
This would’ve been a regular post if not for the fact that he had never publicly acknowledged his daughter, and in fact, it was rumored that he denied her upon questioning.
Lord Lamba seems to have foreseen questions regarding the validity of his paternity to his daughter, and he had that settled, as he shared a picture of her international passport, containing full details, including her name, where she was born, and her date of birth.
Acknowledging his daughter on social media after a year may not have seemed shady, but the fact that he posted her photos and videos shortly after Queen Mercy Atang announced her engagement brings to mind a lot of questions as to whether his intentions are pure.
Taking to his comment section, Nkechi Blessing questioned if the one year old was born today. The movie actress wrote:
“But na today dem born the pikin? SMH”
Angel in her reaction slammed him for trying to upstage his baby’s mother. She told him to do better, as she questioned why he chose today of all days, to make his daughter public. Angel Smith wrote:
“Do better, today of all days, you had all the time in the world.
When the baby was born, we were all here when they called Queen names, he didn’t post, today she got engaged, he came to post her, yuck”.
