Many Nigerians didn’t believe he would win –OAP Do2dtun on Anthony Joshua’s victory over Francis Ngannou
  • Do2dtun stated Nigerians didn’t believe Nigerian-British boxer, Anthony Joshua was going to defeat, Francis Ngannou, in their boxing bout on Friday.
  • He pointed out that Anthony Joshua was right not to have mentioned Nigeria in his speech where he acknowledged Britain, Cameroon and Saudi Arabia.

Popular Nigerian On-Air Personality (OAP), Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode popularly known as Do2dtun reacts to the victory of Nigerian-British boxer Anthony Joshua.

Do2tun asserted that a good number of Nigerians didn’t think the Nigerian-British boxer, Anthony Joshua, would triumph over former Franco-Cameroonian UFC star Ngannou on Friday.

Recall that the former UFC heavyweight champion was defeated by Joshua in the second round of their fight in South Arabia.

Following Joshua’s victory over Ngannou, Nigerians flocked to social media to congratulate him.

Do2tun, however, reacted via his X handle stating that the majority of Nigerians who are rejoicing with Anthony Joshua, initially didn’t support him.

He expressed that many Nigerians are still in disbelief at the victory of Anthony Joshua over Francis Ngannou.

He wrote:

“Be honest, so many Nigerians didn’t believe Anthony would win this fight. I did. I said to my friends, ‘Boxing is technical & just cos Francis knocked out Fury who I still think hasn’t fought a good contender doesn’t mean he will beat Anthony.’ We need to do better.”

Do2tun shared a screenshot of his tweet on his Instagram page, opining that Anthony Joshua was right not to name Nigeria in his victory speech when he honored Britain, Cameroon, and Saudi Arabia.

Do2dtun wrote: “Success has a lot of family members.

“Failure is an orphan. Such is life but I’ll rather choose one with my full chest.
Let’s stay one place. He [Anthony Joshua] didn’t shout us out but do we truly deserve it?

“Tonnes even bet against him.. chai Naija for show.”

In another story, OAP Do2dtun reveals why political aspirants need to have good PR .

According to the energetic father of two, the public relations (PR) managers hired by political aspirants in the country do more damage to their image representation.

Taking to his Twitter account, Do2dtun noted that the contents the PR managers dish out to the electorates worsens the image they ought to portray well.

He further cited an example of an aspirant whose public relations managers said “when you are sick, people fly out”.
