Why Bobrisky was awarded Best Dressed Female – Eniola Ajao reveals, begs Femi Adebayo, Dayo Amusa [VIDEO]

• Eniola Ajao has finally addressed the controversial Best Dressed Award that was given to crossdresser, Bobrisky at the filmmaker’s Beast of Two World movie premiere. 
• The actress while speaking in a TV interview said the aforementioned decision was taken simply for clout, in a bid to promote her movie.
• Eniola Ajao appealed to Femi Adebayo, Dayo Amusa, women and all affected quarters to forgive her because it wasn’t her intention to offend anyone.

Nigerian filmmaker cum actress, Eniola Ajao has finally broken her silence on Bobrisky’s controversy.

WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the movie star, on Sunday, had premiered her highly anticipated movie, Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds, which saw lots of celebrities in attendance. Many had turned up in interesting costumes and to the surprise of many, Bobrisky was crowned the Best Dressed Female of the night, thereby, walking home with a million check which didn’t sit well with many.

The crossdresser’s win had brought drama to the internet as Toyin Abraham, Portable, Dayo Amusa, and more clashed with the crossdresser. The whole drama took a different turn as it led to a public spat between Femi Adebayo and Dayo Amusa, who had criticized the movie star for announcing Bobrisky as the winner.

In an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola made it known that it was a deliberate action to pick Bobrisky as the winner as it was all a publicity stunt and marketing strategy to promote her movie. She noted how the crossdresser is a controversial person, hence, her decision to award him the Best Dressed Female to generate more buzz for her project.

Eniola Ajao noted how people are berating Femi Adebayo, who was oblivious to her schemes and was only trying to support her by being the presenter of the night. She said in part:

“It was all joke, we wanted to have fun. We wanted people to talk about the movie. My team and I decided that the movie needed to be talked about and for it to be in the faces of people and we decided to give it to Bobrisky because he is a controversial person. At the end of the day, people started talking about it, but some people are trying to come at Femi Adebayo, who is my boss. He wasn’t even aware of so many things that were going on. I only called him to help me announce this, he wasn’t part of the judges or anything”.

In her caption, she tendered a deep apology to Femi Adebayo, noting how nobody deserves to be in such a situation as he was only supporting a colleague, whom he considers his sister. Eniola Ajao also apologized to Dayo Amusa and others who might have been offended about how things turned out. She captioned the video:

Please, guys, take it easy on my boss @femiadebayosalami, all he did was to support his sister and things went south – a position nobody deserves to find themselves in. I apologize to him, @dayoamusa, and to EVERYONE who feels offended about how everything turned out. Please, don’t throw the baby away with the bathwater
