The wife of popular Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo, Aduke Omotayo has taken to Instagram to call out fellow actress Dayo Amusa.

The altercation stemmed from Dayo Amusa’s criticism of Femi Adebayo’s role in presenting the Best Dressed Female award to controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky.

According to reports by Within Nigeria, Bobrisky was awarded the Best Dressed Female title at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere, a decision that sparked widespread backlash.

Dayo Amusa, voiced her dissatisfaction on Instagram, accusing the judges and organizers of disrespecting the female attendees at the event.

Amusa argued that a separate category should have been created to honour crossdressers, rather than labeling Bobrisky as the best-dressed female.

Responding to Dayo Amusa’s comments, Aduke Omotayo took to her Instagram page to defend her husband, Femi Adebayo.

She criticized Dayo Amusa for attempting to tarnish her husband’s reputation merely for presenting an award.

Aduke questioned the logic of blaming the presenter for the decision made by the judges and organizers.

In her rebuttal, Dayo Amusa acknowledged Aduke’s right to defend her spouse but criticized her for resorting to banter, suggesting it showcased Aduke’s shallow-mindedness.

Amusa emphasized that Femi Adebayo should take responsibility for his actions and rectify the situation.

Aduke Omotayo fired back at Dayo Amusa, challenging the extent of damage she could inflict.

Aduke further revealed that earlier in the day, Dayo Amusa had privately apologized to Femi Adebayo over the phone, promising to publicly retract her statements with a video.

Aduke accused Amusa of deceitfulness, labeling her as a hypocrite and evil-minded individual.

In her words;

“Dayo! You are a hypocrite and evil-minded! Just this morning you were apologizing to Femi on the phone. You claimed you didn’t mean it the way it was interpreted and that you would do a video to correct that but of course, you lied!

“Who God has blessed, No Dayo can curse.”

“God is bigger than you”.
