Nigerian film actress cum serial entrepreneur, Iyabo Ojo has said she will not be getting married again.
The 46-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Wednesday afternoon, April 10, in which she stated that she is “done and dusted” with such.
On why she made the choice, Iyabo Ojo stated that she is done raising her kids, noted that the next stage in her life is enjoyment as she is only seeking a soulmate and a companion. The actress wrote:
“Marriage…… Done & Dusted.
Had kids …….Done & Dusted.
Raised My kids…… Done & Dusted.
Next stage: Enjoyment! Enjoyment!! Enjoyment!!!! 😋😍 🥰 #foreveristhedeal to enjoy life to the fullest ✨❤️ .

Responding to a curious fan who asked via the comment section what she would do if her partner, Paulo proposed marriage, Ojo explained that they are “on the same page.”
Replying to another fan who scolded her for “misleading the young ladies by not believing in marriage,” the actress explained that she “never said she didn’t believe in marriage. I said I have done that character. It didn’t work for me, and I don’t want to go through that route again. I want to enjoy my life with my soul mate.”
Iyabo married Ademidun Ojo, a clearing and forwarding agent, in 1999 when she was 21 years old. They had two children, Priscilla and Festus, before parting ways.
On her 45th birthday in December 2022, Iyabo confirmed her relationship with Paulo Okoye, the CEO of Upfront and Personal Global Management.
