Nigerian actress and content creator, Motunde Sogunle, says she would forgive her partner if he cheated on her, but that if the cheating is excessive, she would walk away.
Motunde Sogunle who is skit maker, Mr Macaroni’s on-screen daughter told the Punch in an interview that she has a tattoo on her left wrist that says ‘forgiveness’.
In her words:
“Who am I not to forgive? It is when it is done in excess that I will probably walk away. I don’t think catching my partner cheating on me will be a reason to leave the relationship.”
Sogunle added that the tiniest thing could make her leave, such as being taken for granted.
She also said the only time she had really had to sacrifice anything major was for stage plays, because it had a lot of ups and downs. She stated:
“Recently, I had to do rehearsals for a stage play and also had to be on a movie set at the same time. So, it is really about me putting in the work for every role I have to play.”
Sogunle is popular for her portrayal of Motunde, the fictional daughter of a social media comedian, Mr Macaroni.
Meanwhile, Nigerian film actress cum entrepreneur, Nkechi Blessing Sunday has said that she would rather chew stone than go back to her ex-lover because of a romantic movie scene.
The 35-year-old said this in an Instagram post on Wednesday while responding to a fan who asked her to go back to her ex after she made a joke about her current relationship being at stake because her boyfriend warned her never to kiss onscreen.
